Black Friday Apple deals 2023: what we expect to see at this year's sale

Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation): was $249 now $199 at Amazon
You can grab Apple's best-selling AirPods Pro 2 on sale for $199 at Amazon's Black Friday sale - a new record-low price. Apple's all-new earbuds include improved audio quality and noise cancellation and include a wireless charging case that provides more than 24 hours of battery life. Today's deal is better than we saw during Prime Day, and we don't predict it will stick around for long.

Apple AirPods (2nd Generation): was $159 now $79 at Walmart
One of our favorite Black Friday Apple deals is the Apple AirPods 2 on sale for just $79 at Walmart. That matches the record-low we saw during Prime Day and is a fantastic price for a pair of premium earbuds. If you want some new AirPods and don't need them to be the latest model, this deal is highly recommended.

Apple Watch 8 (GPS, 41mm): was $399 now $349 at Amazon
This is only the second time we've seen the latest Apple Watch 8 discounted at Amazon. The smartwatch has only been available for less than two months, but you can already save $50 in this Black Friday Apple deal. Updates are incremental compared to the previous version but do include an upgraded S8 processor, all-day 18-hour battery life, and a suite of new health and fitness functions thanks to watchOS 9.

Apple Watch SE (1st Gen): was $279.00 now $149 at Walmart
The original SE isn't as good as the Series 8, Ultra, or the updated SE from a hardware point of view, but there's still a lot to love here for $150. With a recycled aluminum case, it's swim-proof, great for hiking with real-time compass and elevation readings, and allows you to take calls and answer messages from your wrist.

Apple iPad 10.2 2021 (64GB): $329 $269 at Amazon
Amazon's Black Friday Apple deals include the 2021 iPad on sale for $269. While it's not the speediest tablet in the range, a decent screen, quality design, and relatively speedy chip make this the iPad that suits most people's needs the best. For streaming, shopping, and doing a few light work tasks, it's a great choice, and today's deal is a record-low price.

iPad Air 2020 (64GB): $599 $349 at Walmart
Apple's still-excellent fourth-generation iPad Air from 2020 can be had with a tidy $150 off-the-base 64GB, WiFi-only model at Walmart. We've already covered why it's a better buy than the latest tenth-generation iPad, and in our review, we described it as 'a phenomenally well-made tablet.'

If you're looking for a MacBook in today's Apple deals, Amazon has slashed the price of the 2020 MacBook Air down to $799.99 - the lowest price we've ever seen. The powerful 13-inch laptop delivers excellent performance thanks to Apple's M1 Chip and includes an ultra-thin design and an impressive battery life. It's fantastic value for money and the best deal you can find.

MacBook Pro M2: $1,299 $1,149.99 at Amazon
Amazon has Apple's powerful MacBook Pro M2 on sale for $1,149.99 at Amazon's Black Friday deals event. That's a total savings of $150 and the lowest price we've seen for the 13-inch laptop. If you're looking for a premium ultrabook with incredible performance, battery life, and a quality display, there's not much that can challenge the latest MacBook Pro.

We raved about the noise cancellation and sound quality in our review. The longer battery life and upgraded Find My support are both excellent too – and they're still light and comfortable.

Because the new version of AirPods Pro is out now, we expect stock of the last model to hit super-low prices, which will make them a great deal. At the right price, their combination of sound quality, great noise cancellation, and smart feature on iPhone would be very hard to beat. This price is the lowest we've seen over Black Friday so far, which is why we're highlighting it – but they briefly dropped to £160 a little while ago, and we're hoping they'll fall that far again. But if you find this price tempting, we wouldn't blame you for jumping in early!

John Lewis is kicking off its Black Friday sale with a small but welcome discount on the latest Apple Watch Series 8 this week. While it appears that this price is for the Starlight color specifically, this is currently the best deal out there for this model if you're simply looking for a GPS version. New features with this iteration include an Always‑On display, crash detection, and temperature sensing, for a wide range of applications.

If you're looking for an Apple tablet on a budget, consider picking up the latest iPad 10.2 on sale for £309 at Amazon - just £10 more than the record-low price. With a great Retina Display, speedy A13 Bionic chip, and expanded 64GB of storage, the latest 2021 iPad is a great choice if you're looking for an all-rounder that doesn't break the bank. Today's price is the best we've seen in months, so it's a great time to buy if you don't want to wait for the official Black Friday Apple deals event.
